Want to feel clean and use less toilet paper? Toilet bidets, the one thing in life you didn’t know you needed, and now can’t live without.
Certainly this year (2020) made us rethink so many of our habits. So many people were used to flushing money, err toilet paper, down the toilet. Not only did saving our money become so urgent, but also saving toilet paper.
The easy solution to this problem might not be on the top many Americans’ minds. Bidets are just not commonplace in America. But they should become commonplace, or at least I believe so. Give bidets a try and see for yourself. You can be motivated by saving on toilet paper, but you’ll get much more.
Get a Bidet and Stop Wasting Money on Toilet Paper
Bidets! The secret that is being kept from many American for a long time. Yup! It is a long kept secret! You might not know it yet, but you will love it.
Growing up, we always had a bidet. So it was taken for granted. When I traveled abroad, however, I realized that not everyone had jumped on the bandwagon.
When we arrived in America, we went hunting for a bidet. The one we wanted to buy had to fill three criteria:
First it had to be easy to install, and also easy to remove because we are living in a rental. Second, It also had to be budget friendly, we were moving and had a lot of expenses, so we needed one that doesn’t break the bank. Third, and most importantly, it had to be of good quality to get the job done. We got one from Lowe’s. It filled all three criteria, it was great! We loved it! Then we got a second one from Amazon for the second bathroom, which was another great buy.
So why a bidet?
If you’ve never tried using a bidet before, this will be a game changer for your personal hygiene. I will tell you why, and which bidet I got and give you more options so you can find the one that’s right for you.
Save on Toilet Paper (if you can find any)
First of all, and so relevant these days, you will use less toilet paper when you use a bidet. Are you sold yet? Toilet paper has pretty much become a precious commodity nowadays. With a bidet, you basically save money that you’ve been throwing down the toilet. As an added bonus, you won’t have to look in every corner of every store for the last of the toilet paper. Use a bidet to clean up, and a couple of toilet paper squares will be enough to dry up after that.
Get a squeaky-clean bum
Second of all, you guessed it, it does a great job of cleaning especially after number two. It feels great to be able to wash yourself with a jet of running water, and it’s much cleaner and better for your health. Give it a try and you will never go back to your pre-bidet days.

So, which bidet should you get?
The one I got from Amazon is the ZGO Handheld Bidet Sprayer. It’s budget-friendly; about $24, and it is very easy to install. It comes with all the tools you need for the installation. It also has two settings for the water sprayer head. I love this design. It’s simple, but honestly it’s all you need.
Another option is the Bio Bidet SlimEdge Simple Bidet. This model is a non-electric bidet attachment under the toilet seat that is controlled by a knob. It is also a relatively inexpensive model, which costs around $31.50. It has over 2000 reviews on Amazon, with a rating of 4.3 out of 5.
The more luxurious (read expensive) option is an electronic bidet seat, like the SmartBidet SB-1000 from Amazon. This one costs roughly $250. It has over a 1000 reviews on Amazon, with an average rating of 4.4 out of 5. What sets it apart in my opinion, is the temperature control. With the other models you get cold water. With the electronic bidet, you can adjust the temperature of the water to be warm. This particular model has 3 water temperatures, 5 levels of water pressure, a heated seat, and warm air dryer. You won’t even need the two squares of toilet paper.
